How It Works

Welcome to TF Seeker's Sightings

This site is intended as a resource for the online Furry and Transformation Community to provide links to some choice sites of that nature on the web.

A Dictionary of Terms (Dubbed the "Furcyclopedia Transformica" by Deuce) is also provided here for those new or unfamiliar with Furry and Transformation terms and abbreviations.

It is by no means complete, nor all-inclusive, and probably never will be, but we hope you will enjoy some of these 'gems' we have come across during our travels across the internet.

Thanks to BaCkBuRn, Deuce, Naga, Shadowchaser and many others for providing inspiration in their own ways for this site.

Special thanks to TF Central For hosting this site

Just a few explanations for the conventions on this website:

About the site:

Trying to categorise such a large and varied group on the web is almost impossible, and there will be a number of repeats in each major category.

Main Categories

Mainly Furry sites include Anthromorphic Animals (Furries) take center stage on that site, although you might find a few transformations or normal items on that site.

Mainly Transformation includes transformations of almost any sort, although mainly into a non-human state. You might find a few Furry or normal items there.

Mainly "Topographic" includes human modifications - conjoinments, extra or enhanced appendages, transgender, age regression or progression, elastic people, petrification, etc. In other words, non-furry TFs.

Mainly "Mainstream" includes websites connected to transformations that have appeared in print, on TV, movies, or other pop culture references. Also includes links to general Anime and Manga websites, and other real world oddities for you to ponder.

If a site has such a variety of topics that it fits under more than one category, we will give it two or more duplicate listings.

Below this are general links we think everyone will find usedful - including The Furcyclopedia Transformica.

Subcategories

As we start off, there are five major subcategories:

Archives: Home to more than a dozen contributors.

Art: A specific artist or group of select artists own website.

Authors: Any writing, from story archives to round robin boards.

Comics: Any comic strip or book material.

Groups and Links: Discussion Boards and links.

As we grow, more subcategories will be added as popular topics become evident.

Website

Websites will be listed by their names. No banners are used since this will slow upload times, and we want you to get to where you want to go as quickly as possible.

We usually go by the title bar at the top of the page, but if there is none, or there is a different name listed on the page, it may be used as well.

For links, we try to get the index page, although if it is not easily found (as is the case with some websites) we will link directly to or as close to the furry or transformation topics as possible.

Types

At the top are ratings. Ratings are based roughly on the movie rating system. They are intended as a notation for people wishing to avoid (or are seeking) sites with adult oriented material on them. However, some sites have a mix of "adult" and non-adult items on them, and since they are always being updated, these ratings may not hold true.

N/A-Not Applicable
NR - No rating yet. We were unable to get a "feel" for what is offered there, and cannot render a somewhat accurate rating

PG - If you're just able to operate a computer, it ought to be suitable. I hope!
R - Nudity
X - Adult Situations, Violence, Sex, etc.
XXX - Some Real Hard-Core Stuff. You WILL probably be offended

In the middle, the nationality is noted if it is known, or has some impact on how you will see the website (for instance, Japanese websites can be difficult to navigate due to the language barrier.)

At the bottom is the types of Furries transformation types you might find there, assuming the site has an obvious "specialty".

Descriptions

The descriptions are ment to give you more of an idea of what is on a website, and are the opinions or observations of TF Seeker or someone who has submitted a description. If there is an abundance of a certain type of subject, such as say, ring-tailed lemurs, it will be noted, as will other things we believe people will find of interest, such as seperate galleries for adult and non-adult topics, and how often the site is updated.
