| Odin |
God of wisdom, and chief of the Norse gods, Odin had the ability to shapeshift, often into a bird, or when travelling as a wandering old man with one good eye. Known as "Woden" in pre-Christian Germany, he was honored with the middle day of the week - "Woden's Day". This name has been trandformed into today's "Wednesday". |

A group of Naga-like entities described in Native American legends near Montreal, Canada. These creatures appear as humanoids, but don a serpent's skin to change into their oniares form, a sort of antlered water serpent, and prey upon humans. |
